HTC Inspire 4G Review

Now that AT&T has lost its exclusive grip on the Apple iPhone in the US, the company is looking to attract new customers by jumping on the Android bandwagon. The wireless carrier has landed two of the most anticipated Android devices of early 2011 - the Motorola Atrix 4G and the HTC Inspire 4G. While labeling these devices “4G” is a bit of stretch, both are high-powered smartphones that will fuel AT&T’s Android mission.

HTC Sensation 3.0 UI and Android 2.3.3 Review

HTC Sensation comes with a fresh serving of Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but it's all about the HTC Sense UI version 3.0 with a touch of refinement and functionality straight from the lock screen. You can choose between a number of lock screen options such as weather updates, quick access to apps and a handful of clock widgets. A 1.2GHz Qualcomm dual-core chipset supports the nice 3D-like transitions in the menu, all carrying resemblance to the ones on the HTC Flyer tablet.

HTC Sabor Review

The upcoming HTC smartphone destined for Sprint packs a 2GHz processor, over 1000 resolution display, Android OS 2.5 (gingerbread), 2 cameras with one being a 10-megapixel, 1080p video recording and built-in kickstand. Right now it seems like they're trying to beat themselves while beating others.
And I also don't see the point of 2ghz. Phones run fast enough. They should focus on GPU and having a product that doesn't kill the battery. Or better yet, focus on the battery.

HTC Thunderbolt – An Overview ( Specs, Release Date, Price )

HTC Thunderbolt was first presented at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this year and considering the competition it has to face in the 4G market, let’s see if it measures up to Verizon’s claim about it – “the phone that people have been dreaming about”. This obviously puts the spotlight on HTC’s Thunderbolt, so let’s see if there is indeed anything worth dreaming about when playing around with the Thunderbolt.

HTC Flyer Review

The news at Mobile World Congress 2011 from Barcelona were great not only for the smartphone users, but also for tablet lovers: HTC announced their first tablet – HTC Flyer. This was obviously expected to happen sooner or later. Having some unique features, which are pretty awesome, comes as a proof that HTC never misses their target and always knows how to offer users a different, overwhelming experience…yeah you guessed it, i’m a HTC fan.

HTC EVO 3D Review

Sprint has just announced their latest smartphones, namely HTC EVO 3D. The design is very similar to the LG Optimus 3D and will runs on on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) preloaded with the HTC Sense user interface. The HTC Evo 3D has two 5-megapixel cameras for capturing the 3D video, with a flash sitting in between. The device also has a 1.3MP front-facing camera for video calls.
The Sprint EVO 3D is 3D smartphone with a glasses-free 3D display, and also can capture 3D content and shooting high quality 3D video. The device is support 1080p HD videos and 720p 3D HD videos via an HDMI port.

HTC Desire Android Review

The HTC Desire is the follow-up to the very well-received HTC Legend. The two smartphones are similar in many respects, but the HTC Desire has a more powerful processor and a larger screen, making it potentially more appropriate for business users who find themselves staring at the display more often than not to respond to emails and suchlike.
The HTC Desire sports a 1GHz processor, rather than the 600MHz offering in the HTC Legend. The more powerful processor means the device is better able to run applications faster. This means not only working more quickly within individual apps, for example, responding to screen taps and saving photos to an SD card more quickly, but also running multiple applications at the same time with more speed. During testing we did not experience any of the ‘white screen wait’ situations that we do with our workaday HTC Hero, for example.
The screen is one of the real plus points of the HTC Desire. At 3.7in it is one of the largest on any smartphone, and its 480 x 800 pixels mean it can display plenty of information. Its AMOLED technology makes it pin-sharp and bright in most situations. We did find it faded away in bright outdoor sunshine, but that is not a situation unique to this device.

HTC Touch Pro Review

Review
First off it has to be said this IS a very nice device, the screen is a pleasure at 480x640 the VGA is sharp and clear and a vast improvement to the usual 240x320. It is touch sensitive and is very responsive, I found that I had to resort to the stylus very little which is a great plus for me. Remember to tap and then drag, it works much better than drag alone.
The HTC user interface is also easy to use and covers all the practical applications that are used regularly. With quick access to menus such as People, Messages, Email, Internet etc. tap the bottom scroll bar and drag your finger sideways to access all the other application such as Photos, Music, Weather, Settings and finally a customisable Programs. For me it would be nice to be able to customise the scroll bar itself for a more personal touch.
