T-Mobile LG G2X Review, Specs, Release Date, Prices, Features

ORLANDO - T-Mobile isn't giving up. On Sunday, AT&T announced plans to buy T-Mobile and eventually shut down the carrier's 3G/4G network. But T-Mobile is plowing on, with a slick new dual-core phone and a powerful, Google Android Honeycomb-based tablet that can record 3D video. I got some time with both devices, and I liked them.
The LG G2x is T-Mobile's version of the very first dual-core mobile phone, the LG Optimus 2X. Like many high-end Android phones, it's a black slab with a 4-inch, 800-by-480 screen and, in this case, an 8-megapixel camera on the back. It has a few interesting, subtle things going for it. For one thing, it's a relatively clean build of Android. It's only Froyo, not Gingerbread, because LG and Nvidia have to work to get Gingerbread running on the dual-core chip, but this phone will get updated quite soon, according to T-Mobile. That's nice.

HTC Inspire 4G Review

Now that AT&T has lost its exclusive grip on the Apple iPhone in the US, the company is looking to attract new customers by jumping on the Android bandwagon. The wireless carrier has landed two of the most anticipated Android devices of early 2011 - the Motorola Atrix 4G and the HTC Inspire 4G. While labeling these devices “4G” is a bit of stretch, both are high-powered smartphones that will fuel AT&T’s Android mission.

HTC Sensation 3.0 UI and Android 2.3.3 Review

HTC Sensation comes with a fresh serving of Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but it's all about the HTC Sense UI version 3.0 with a touch of refinement and functionality straight from the lock screen. You can choose between a number of lock screen options such as weather updates, quick access to apps and a handful of clock widgets. A 1.2GHz Qualcomm dual-core chipset supports the nice 3D-like transitions in the menu, all carrying resemblance to the ones on the HTC Flyer tablet.

TomTom xl GPS Review

The TomTom XL Live Europe (£220 inc. VAT) is a mid-range satellite-navigation device that's crammed with features.
With access to TomTom's Live services, the company intends this device to be used regularly, and not just when you're going somewhere new. The most impressive feature Live offers is real-time traffic updates, with each of the units featuring integrated Vodafone SIM cards and reporting traffic conditions and average road speeds back to TomTom.
With updates occurring immediately, in theory you should never have to sit in a traffic jam again. Unlike most other manufacturers, TomTom also uses average speeds at different times of the day, so you'll be informed of different journey lengths, depending on when you travel.

Flip Camera Review

This model of the Flip UltraHD Camera comes with 8GB of memory that is built into the camera's mechanism. The benefit of the 8GB is it can record up to two (2) hours of HD video! The best news is you do not have to buy additional memory cards.
